About.

At 37 years old, I had never owned a home due to my previous spouse's military career. After going through a divorce and knowing I was going to settle back home in Nashville, I was adamant about owning my first home.

I was fortunate to have support that allowed me to take the steps necessary towards home ownership. And while that meant putting all my stuff in storage and living with my Mom for 15 months (thanks, Mom!), it set me on a path to homeownership that has allowed me to build equity in my investment and has opened doors for future opportunities.

I want this opportunity for EVERY WOMAN. The path to homeownership can be intimidating. Conflicting information can be confusing. Making the sacrifices can be exhausting. Knowing who to ask for recommendations can be nerve wracking. Getting started can be overwhelming.

My goal with Women Who Own is to help remove those barriers and ensure every woman has the education, resources, community, and support that empowers her to make a decision that helps set herself and her family up for future success and financial freedom.
